An activity that's close to the heart of Volunteers is that of sharing knowledge with others. Whether to children or to adults, our volunteers quickly learnt that in order to teach, we needed to be taught about how to teach. Our volunteers began by learning from experienced educationists, who spared us their valuable time and knowledge in teaching us the techniques of sharing knowledge with others, the precautions to take as a volunteer and the need to establish a long-term relationship with the mentee.
